Student will login to Tenmarks.com
Student will take geometry assessment
Student will be introduced to Puzzle Page and Homework Assignment.
January 27, 2012-Geometry
Student will learn Geometry Terms and draw them on paper.
Review: Horizontal, vertical, parallel, face, vertices, edge,
Prisms and Cylinders, regular polygon
Lines, Line Segments, Rays, and Angles
New Vocabulary: Isosceles triangle, vertices of the triangle

February 3, 2012 -Geometry
Student will review homework terms with Flipchart to draw and illustrate concepts. Geometry Assessment 2.3.12.flipchart
New Vocabulary words: Area, Perimeter, equilateral triangle, isosceles triangle
Geometry Assessment-Student will have a least 1 concept to illustrate and write definition on large drawing paper.
Student will be given homework sheet 3. Balloon Ride
February 10 and February 17-Fractions
Student will learn new Fraction terms: denominator, numerator, fraction, equal
Student will read the definition while holding illustration and record his math concept using IMOVIE on the Mac Book.
(Teacher will demo how to use the software)

Teacher will produce Movie and add music and Titles.
Student will use Tenmarks.com to take an initial fraction assessment.
Student will use Fractions to practice and learn about fractions.
March 2
Students will be practice Fraction facts and hands on learning.
All the students will be divided into 3 groups to work in Fraction center
Group A: At the board with Ms. Cristina
Group B: Using the laptops to access TEN MARKS and Fractions Websites.
Group C: Using the Itouches to practice Fractions
Homework: Fraction Domino Game
March 30
Student will learn time and telling time
Students will divide into 3 groups
Group A: Tenmarks math assignments (Time)
Group B: Itouch math APPs
Group C: Laptops Techno Math and More TIME to tell TIME!
April 13 and April 20
Student will practice math algorythms.
Students will divide into 4 groups
Group A: Tenmarks math assignments
Group B: Itouch math APPs
Group C: Laptops Techno Math and More Math Algorythms
Group D: Creating a 1/2 pattern math quilt

Students will draw out an answer to a math question.
Students will create their own math question.
Groups can choose which math concept to work on from the sidebar.
Student will login to TENMARKS and complete a practice
